lipka.com is a nationwide court reporting firm, looking for at least 5 freelance court reporters in the Philadelphia area (already residents of the area - no relocation needed). If you already freelance with an agency, but are looking for a little more work on days they don?t have anything for you ? this is a match made in heaven. We also give plenty of notice so you can ask to have yourself taken ?off book? on a particular day, to better coordinate with your current agency and not leave them in the lurch.

We handle only commercial litigation with a special emphasis on patent and anti-trust cases. Many of our cases require RealTime and Dirty Disk, and the average transcript pages per day is about 250.

1. Your complete contact info (including email and cell phone numbers);
2. The name of the court reporting school you attended and the year graduated (other education as well);
3. The number of words in your personal dictionary;
4. Your untranslate rate;
5. Your certification "letters" (CSR, RPR, CRR, MR, etc.);
6. Any memberships (NCRA, etc.);
7. The number of years you?ve been performing RealTime and/or Dirty Disk;
8. If you have any sort of government security clearances (what type);
9. Your CAT System and the type of transcriptor you use;
10. If you have any court experience as an official or as a freelancer on assignment.
11. The rates that you are currently paid by your local agency (we pay the going rate so as not to step on local agencies' toes).
